Dorint Thermenhotel Freiburg is part of the Gesundheitsresort Freiburg and combines a wide range of relaxation, fitness and recreation options. Our spa team will pamper you with selected wellness and beauty treatments using only first-class, natural products.
You can also use the spa oasis of our cooperation partner, which is structurally connected to the hotel. The spacious spa and sauna area of the KEIDEL Mineral-Thermalbad offers you pure relaxation and recreation on more than 6,000 m². The sauna area can be booked for an extra charge of €11.50 per person/day at the spa.
At 60 °C, the aroma sauna is a mild sauna. Both newcomers and sauna experts feel at home here, as the interplay of changing lighting and music allows them to unwind. This is supported by changing fragrances. Visitors experience an almost meditative inner peace and can forget everyday life.
In the geyser sauna, infusions are deliberately avoided in order to keep the relative humidity at a stable low level. The geyser sweat cabin is particularly suitable for sauna guests who want to enjoy the heat for a whole day.
In the infusion sauna, hot temperatures meet high humidity. Infusions take place here regularly.
The Turkish steam bath has extremely high humidity at 45 °C. The constantly evaporating water transfers the heat directly to the skin, instantly stimulating blood circulation and perspiration.
The water lily sauna is located right next to the natural bathing lake and is in the same pavilion as the panorama sauna. There is room for 25 people here.
The panorama sauna not only impresses with its magnificent view of the countryside, but also with its various infusions. 70 people can relax here.
The log cabin sauna is located between the natural bathing lake and the outdoor pool. You are spoiled for choice as to where you would like to refresh and revitalize yourself after your sauna bath.
The air in the pool sauna is 90 °C hot and dry. It also promotes perspiration. A visit to this sauna can put a strain on the circulation and should be done with caution.
The birch sauna is located directly by the natural bathing lake and has its own relaxation room together with the lake sauna. With an indoor temperature of 70 °C, it is rather mild and is suitable for all sauna guests thanks to the high humidity.
Like the birch sauna, the lake sauna is located separately by the bathing lake. The temperature is a rather dry 85 °C, making it a good introduction to the hot saunas. Between the two cabins by the natural bathing lake there is a cozy fireplace room as a relaxation room.

Yes, there is a thermal bath in our hotel, which is included in the price for our guests. The sauna area can also be booked directly at the spa for an additional charge of €11.50 per person per day.
